It’s been one of those days. How often do we say that? Isn’t it odd how we notice the things that have gone wrong but fail to recognise everything that has gone well. It’s either a disaster or ‘business as ususal’. I recall someone commenting that we think more negative than positive thoughts. How odd. I thought my glass was half, even two-thirds, full, but now I’m not so sure.

Last week I pulled down part of a ceiling accidentally, came to assembly two flat-pack items: one had many of the pre-drilled holes missing from one side, the other had the instructions missing. Definitely one of those days. Well no, because someone rang up and asked me to write a short monthly article on speaking in public because she’d seen my writing elsewhere and liked it. And I managed to overcome the earlier problems. So all in all, a better than average day. Or am I just being too positive?
