If you are a subscriber to The Watercooler and are also a sensible person (those two attributes aren’t mutually exclusive are they?), you will take the weekend off, not think about business and not switch on your PC or laptop. Come Monday morning The Watercooler will be contributing to the clutter in your inbox with the weekend’s posts as well as Monday’s. This is not necessarily good news.
The majority of you do the sensible thing and don’t come this way at weekends. And, of course, posting at the weekends means that I have to come here or plan in advance and write three posts on Friday. So it seems to me that most of us would prefer that I closed The Watercooler for business over the weekend.
In view of the above, this will be the last weekend posting. I am sorry if that means you now have to get on with less pleasant activities such as cleaning, decorating, gardening, shopping or cooking. But life is full of challenges isn’t it? See you on Monday. And thank you to the loyal few who stuck with me over the weekends. Perhaps you could now pop round and help with the cleaning!
